ALFREDO FERRE (Onomeya)
Cello
Alfredo Ferre trained at the Reina Sofía School in Madrid under Natalia Shakhovskaia and Ivan Monighetti and later continued his studies at the Basel Music Academy.
He is a laureate of several international competitions (Janigro, Verbier Festival, Prix Kiefer Hablitzel) and has performed as a soloist on stages such as the KKL Lucerne, La Fenice in Venice, and the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid. As a guest at festivals including Verbier, Gstaad, and Montreux, he simultaneously develops a personal artistic universe under the name Onomeya.
His projects combine classical music, electronics, and a meditative approach to sound, inspired by yoga and mindfulness. He is also active as a composer and collaborates with artists from various disciplines.
He plays a cello attributed to Francesco Gofriller (Venice, circa 1730).
