DIANA ADAMYAN
Violin
Armenian violinist Diana Adamyan is among the most outstanding musicians of her generation.
As a prize-winner of the 2018 Menuhin Competition and the 2020 Khachaturian Competition, she is pursuing a distinguished international career.
She performs with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, and the hr-Sinfonieorchester, appearing in renowned venues including the Elbphilharmonie and the Berliner Philharmonie. A regular guest at international festivals and a sought-after recitalist, she is also deeply committed to chamber music.
Based in Basel, she continues her artistic development under the mentorship of Leonidas Kavakos.
She plays a 1760 Nicolò Gagliano violin, generously on loan from the Henri Moerel Foundation.
