Following studies in electronics and sound engineering, Hans Peter Gutjahr built a multifaceted career as a sound engineer, studio director, educator and sound designer.

He has worked for Swiss Radio DRS, managed recording studios and taught at the FHNW before joining Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Design Film Art, where he teaches audio within the video department.

His artistic practice spans sound production for recordings, film, video, installations and concert projects. Atmosphere, precision and the creation of immersive acoustic spaces remain at the core of his work, allowing artistic ideas to unfold through sound.
