I was 12 years old and it was a memorable event in my life.
We were in the group of children from the Rostropovich Foundation with Shio and David, we had fun together and enjoyed each other’s company. We performed in a beautiful concert hall, traveled by ship on the lake, and most importantly, we attended the concert and listened to the outstanding performance of Natalia Gutman.
DANIEL LOZAKOVICH
It happened in 2019. I came to Switzerland for the first time and was immediately charmed by the warmth of the project organizers and the audience. I made many new friends. However, one incredible event impressed me most. Obviously, it’s a trip to Villa SENAR. It was extremely interesting and valuable to visit the villa SENAR of my favourite composer, Rachmaninoff, and I’m grateful to ArtDialog for such an amazing opportunity!
ALEXANDRA DOVGAN
I was extremely happy to take part in the ArtDialog festival together with exceptionally talented young artists! I will never forget the very warm welcome, the amazing atmosphere and the incredible support I have received from the whole festival team! The founders of the festival, Svetlana and Dimitri, made sure that we had every opportunity to practise, relax and feel at home! We had a chance to visit Luzern, and the most cherished memory was attending Villa SENAR and seeing how Rachmaninoff lived as well as playing a concert on Rachmaninoff’s grand piano! At the concert, we met Rachmaninoff’s granddaughter! The festival will always remain in my memory as one of the most special and inspiring experiences associated with the most vivid emotions!
TSOTNE ZEDGINIDZE
We are so happy to share with you our excitement and confession that to be a part of the ArtDialog Festival was a big honour for us and great opportunity to connect with other amazing musicians. We enjoyed our stay in picturesque Biel/Bienne a lot, made new friends and met so many talented people. A very rich experience for every young musician, thank you ArtDialog!

The festival is already a homeplace for me, thanks to the warm atmosphere created by Dimitri and Svetlana!
ArtDialog is a real fest of music and energy. It’s a place where I got new friends, support and inspiration.VARVARA KUTUZOVA
Playing at the ArtDialog festival was a remarkable experience for me. The memory of this concert symbolizes for me my first full-scale participation in a recital, where I was given total freedom of the programme, being allowed to play works I loved, as well as one of my own compositions and an improvisation. The ArtDialog festival also enabled me to visit and take part in a concert at Villa SENAR, the former home of Sergei Rachmaninoff. I would like to thank the ArtDialog festival for this enriching and unforgettable experience.
PABLO BODINEAU ACKER
It was a truly enriching experience for me as a musician and a person. The overall friendly and supportive atmosphere in and out of the stage was inspiring. I was able to meet new friends, and incredible musicians, from whom I learned a lot during those days, and I also got to visit the marvelous cities of Biel/Bienne and Bern. This festival was definitively an exceptional opportunity for me, and I will never forget it.
WIKTOR GĄSIOR
It was a great honor to participate in the ArtDialog festival.
I really loved to play with amazing young musicians from Austria. It was a remarkable experience. We became good friends. The organization of the festival, its friendly atmosphere made this event even more special. It was also a unique opportunity to deliver great music by Rachmaninoff in the beautiful Concert Hall and to share our emotions with the public. I would like to thank personally to Svetlana and Dimitri for creating this festival, giving the audience an opportunity to discover and enjoy beautiful music and for us, musicians, to share our knowledge and perform on the same stage with amazing artists.LUCAS CHICHE
It was a great pleasure for me to perform at the concert within the ArtFUTURE project. I gained valuable musical and stage experience, as well as wonderful and memorable gifts, along with vivid memories of the concert and warm welcome! Excursions and walks were extremely exciting, I discovered so many new things and found inspiration in the beauty of Bern and Lucerne. However, a visit and a concert at Villa SENAR were truly priceless. To see with my own eyes this iconic place, where Rachmaninoff created, to touch the earthy essence of his personality, and most importantly, to play his piano – all this was unforgettable. I genuinely appreciate this unique opportunity and am immensely grateful for everything.
OLEKSANDR FEDIURKO
I have magnificent memories of the ArtDialog festival. Thanks to this precious opportunity, I got to know wonderful people: the organizers Svetlana and Dimitri, who were always available and friendly with me, Prof. Zoya Nevgodovskaya, with whom we immediately built a trusting relationship, Prof. Mendmaa Dorzhin, whose kindness empowered and calmed me down during the concert. I also met talented musicians of my age, Mirella and Wictor, as we played Bach’s “Ave Maria” at the concert. The staff welcomed me with exceptional hospitality and great professionalism. This experience made me grow a lot, not only musically, but also as a personality. I hope that one day I will be able to meet again with all the special people of this fantastic festival and share other great experiences with them.
CHIARA VOLPATO REDI
The ArtDialog festival was my first big experience abroad. It was so inspiring for me to meet other pianists, to hear them play really challenging compositions, and even the same pieces as me. For me personally, the best bonus was a Swiss watch (I still have it), chocolates, and a scholarship for new competitions and master classes. Thanks to the festival, we met a lot of new people, and the nature of Switzerland just amazed us. Everything smelled like fresh flowers.

I was only 10 years old when I met Tsotne Zedginidze from Georgia and Oleksandr Fediurko from Ukraine, exceptionally talented people! Thanks to Svetlana and Dimitri, the festival organizers, we performed solo recital on the same stage with world-famous musicians, walked along the streets of Biel/Bienne, visited the house of our favorite composer Rachmaninoff, saw his desk, workplace, manuscripts, and played Rachmaninoff’s works on his piano, feeling his invisible presence, and having his granddaughter as the audience.I am extremely grateful to the caring and inspiring Natalia and Andrei Borissov, who welcomed us into their homelike family. Thanks to the magic they bestowed upon us, I immediately believed that an incredible and grandiose creative life awaited me.

DAVID KHRIKULI
I absolutely loved being a part of the ArtFUTURE project!
Getting the chance to play in such a prestigious festival as a young violinist definitely gave me a boost of motivation to go further into that field.
We, youngsters, were not treated as such, we were taken very seriously and empowered by both wonderful organizers and warm public.PAULINE VAN DER REST
The ArtDialog festival was a cornerstone of my career. An opportunity to give a recital with the support of Natalia Gutman was the experience I will always remember. Moreover, love and dedication from the festival’s director Svetlana Vasylyeva and the ArtDialog team is unsurpassed.
JOAQUIN TORRE
It was one of the most memorable experiences in my life. I was 10 years old when I participated in the ArtDialog festival. In the unbelievably beautiful place called Biel/Bienne, I performed at the concert with Daniel Lozakovich and Davit Khrikuli. I still remember not only the warm atmosphere of our concert, but also the moment when we attended Natalia Gutman’s concert which was held in a lovely church surrounded by vineyards! Beautiful music and fabulous nature – what a happiness!
I am grateful for having this great opportunity. Hope to return to Biel/Bienne someday!SHIO OKUI
